Dr. Hardman, affectionately known as the "engagement doc" is a certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) with over 18 years of progressive health care leadership integrated with 10 years of clinical research recruitment and engagement experience. She has found her niche in community motivation and education, site and investigator engagement, and grassroots activities. She's a motivational speaker and advocate for DE&I and serves as a moderator for many diversity health focused panels. Dr. Hardman excels in strategizing with pharma and CRO companies ways to improve diversity in clinical trials, closing the patient to science gap, and increasing awareness and visibility of clinical trials in communities of color. She recently developed a cultural engagement training to assist clinical sites and stakeholders with the tools needed to engage with diverse populations in a culturally appropriate way leading sites to increased diversity recruitment and enrollment, and high value community relationships. Dr Hardman was featured in Clinical Leader as a guest columnist discussing the importance of cultural competency in clinical development. Her ability to develop high value relationships, along with building confidence in the clinical research teams she strategizes with, has led to improved client relations, expedited enrollment, more responsive investigative staffs, and culturally competent recruitment.
